The 34th session of the UNESCO General Conference approved in November 2007 the celebration of 67 anniversaries proposed by Member States during the 2008-2009 bienniums. With cooperation of National Commission for UNESCO in Iran, Buali Sina University, Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Afghan Graduates Association, Cultural Heritage، Handicraft and Tourism Organization and the Research and Development Institute of Humanities, Imam Khomeini International University held the homage ceremony of this progressive figure in the form of an international conference, 11-12 November 2008 at Qazvin, Iran.
